1) Eucharistic Adoration on Friday
There will be Eucharistic Adoration on Friday, 27 March, from 17:00 to 17:45. Confessions will be heard from 17:00 to 17:30. All are encouraged to take part in Adoration and in the Holy Mass.
2) Caritas St. Ansgar invites you to: 1) Handicraft Group – Wednesday, 25 March, from 14:00 to 18:00 2) Waffle Evening – Thursday, 26 March, after the evening Mass
3) Announcement regarding the reception of converts in 2026: We are pleased to announce that four converts who have nearly completed the two‑year catechumenate will be received into the full communion of the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, 4 April 2026 at 21:00. We, the priests and the parish community, thank God for this great grace given to our parish. We pray for our converts, that they may continue to follow Jesus Christ and live according to God’s will and for His glory. All are welcome to attend the Mass!
4) Spring program for Catholic Forum: The spring program for Catholic Forum is now available on the parish website and on the notice board in the hallway. 1) On 15 April, Andreas Ommundsen will speak about artificial intelligence from a Christian perspective. 2) On 20 May, Elzbieta Klamrowska will give a talk on the Sacrament of Matrimony and the meaning of the marriage vows in everyday life
Special Announcements for the English-Speaking Group
- This month, we pray in a special way for all March birthday celebrants. We pray for longer life, good health, and God’s blessings on them all.
- Next 5 minutes devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary is on Sunday 12th April 2026 immediately after the 11:00 mass.
- There are stations of the Cross in English during Lent. It is held every Thursday immediately after 18:00 evening mass. Everyone is highly encouraged to participate.
- Our next Mass in English will take place on Sunday, 26 April 2026 at 15:00. After Mass, we will hold our Easter Thanksgiving Party in the parish hall. All are warmly invited!
- Attention!!! Easter confessions: As part of preparations for Easter, there will be confessions in English on:
- Wednesday 1st April 2026 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and on
- Holy Thursday 2nd April 2026 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Kindly take advantage of this opportunity!
- Attention! On Holy Thursday night (2nd April 2026), the English-speaking group will lead Adoration in English from 22:30 to 23:15. Booklets will be provided. You are kindly encouraged to join us in keeping watch with the Lord for one hour, as He asked His disciples: “Could you not stay awake with me for one hour?” (Matthew 26:40).
