Additional Information
1) Eucharistic Adoration on Friday: There will be Eucharistic Adoration on Friday, 15 May, from 17:00 to 17:45. Confessions will be available from 17:00 to 17:30 during Adoration.
All are warmly encouraged to participate in the Adoration and the Holy Mass.
2) Announcement regarding 17 May (Norwegian Constitution Day): Important information about access to the church: The church is located along the 17 May parade routes. We strongly encourage everyone attending Mass to use public transport. Parking is strictly forbidden along all parade routes. Vehicles parked there may be fined and towed at the owner’s expense, in accordance with the Road Traffic Act § 37. There will be church coffee after the 11:00 Mass on 17 May. The parish hall will also be open until 18:00 for those who wish to come in, watch the children’s parade, and enjoy fellowship together. Please bring your own food and drinks. The parish makes the premises available.
Special Announcements for the English-Speaking Group
- This month, we pray in a special way for all May birthday celebrants. We pray for longer life, good health, and God’s blessings on them all.
- Next 5 minutes devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary is on Sunday 10th May 2026 immediately after the 11:00 mass.
- Our next Mass in English will take place on Sunday, 24th May 2026 at 15:00. After Mass, we will hold our Easter Thanksgiving Party in the parish hall. All are warmly invited!
- 🌸 Rosary Devotions in May (English-speaking group) 🌸: The month of May is traditionally dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, our mother. We warmly invite all members of the English‑speaking group to join the Rosary devotion in English every Thursday at 17:30, before the evening Mass. Let us come together in prayer, asking Our Lady to intercede for our families, our parish, and the world. All are most welcome. 🙏📿
- The Annual Mass and Get‑Together of the English‑speaking and French‑speaking African communities with the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Oslo, Most Rev. Fredrik Hansen, will take place this year on Saturday, 19 September 2026, in Oslo. We kindly ask for your prayers and support for the successful celebration of this event.
