Han ble 83 \u00e5r gammel.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 0.75em;\">\nKons tjente i Norge fra 1978 til 1994, som sogneprest i Stavanger (tildels samtidig i Haugesund) og i Kristiansand. Tidligere hadde han virket p\u00e5 Gr\u00f8nland (der han som pilot fl\u00f8y til sine kapellmenigheter og overlevde to kr\u00e6sjlandinger) og p\u00e5 F\u00e6r\u00f8yene.<\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 0.75em;\">\nHan fratr\u00e5dte prestetjenesten i 1994 og bosatte seg i Cebu City, deretter i byens forstad Talisay. Der bodde han med sin filippinske kone Crescencia (Bingbing)Bernil. Han ble alvorlig syk i juli, innlagt ved Cebu Doctors&#8217; Hospital, og ble utskrevet 27. juli for \u00e5 kunne d\u00f8 hjemme.<\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 0.75em;\">\nBegravelsen finner sted i Cebu torsdag 9 august, og forettes av p.
